We are thrilled to announce that Caty Hils has successfully completed the requirements for ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor – Environmental Management. Caty achieved her ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification in 2019 and has participated with audit teams.
But just as with OSHA VPP and ISO 45001, to avoid a conflict of interest we do not perform the actual audit for our clients. Instead we assess and mentor clients to meet ISO requirements such as an environmental management system in order to prepare for the actual audit.
As part of this role, we can partner with EHS at our clients to
- Develop the Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Establish an EMS (and 45001) Committee
- Educate Members on the Committee
- Identify Gaps
- Determine Solutions to Close Gaps
- Create Ongoing Assessments to Ensure Sustainability
We are happy to also discuss conducting an ISO 14001 audit, and if there is a conflict of interest, we network with other companies that can provide ISO audit services.
