OSHA, AIHA, ASSP, CSRA, and NSC will focus on the prevention of serious injuries and fatalities (SIF) in workplaces. The organizations will work together to share available research and provide employers, workers, trade and professional associations, labor organizations, and the public with information, guidance, and access to training resources for use in workplaces to reduce and eliminate SIFs through effective, evidence-based SIF identification and prevention principles and practices.
The goals of the Alliance include:

The Signatory Organizations include:
- American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)
- American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP)
- Regents of the University of Colorado, a body corporate, on behalf of the University of Colorado Boulder’s Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA)
- National Safety Council (NSC) – SIF Identification and Prevention
